2009 Supporting Our Sisters Grant Recipients:

• $1,000: The American Red Cross of Southwestern Indiana:  First Aid and CPR for new and expectant mothers.
• $500:  Crisis Connection:  Creation of brochures that address bullying for students in Spencer County.            
• $500: Lincoln Trails Elementary School: ‘Girl Power' program to help girls transition from elementary to middle school.
• $3,000: Heritage Hills Middle and High School: Peers educating Peers Program.
• $500: Salvation Army: Emergency Assistance Program for single female headed households.
• $500: Tri-Cap: To replace outdated equipment used during physical exams.
• $245: Youth Leadership Spencer County: Purchase books for program.
